Fire on Wednesday evening razed the building of prominent Lagos-based media house, PM News.
The fire, which started on the last floor of the building located on Acme Road, Ogba, lagos, damaged most part of the floor.
The prompt response of the fire service men helped in preventing the fire from spreading to other floors.
A source at the scene on Wednesday evening told The Eagle Online that the suspicion is that there was a power surge from a power source left on after the close of work.
One of the two fire vehicles that arrived at scene had gone to get more water for the operation as at the time of filing this report.
The fire was first spotted by The Eagle Online source at about 8pm.
PM News also has a sister publication, The News magazine.
A former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is believed to have substantial interest in the company.
