Dr Ibe Kachikwu, Minister of State for Petroleum, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari’s integrity and performance would speak for him during Saturday’s presidential polls.
Kachikwu said this while speaking with newsmen shortly after the inauguration of a socio-political group, Buhari Support Organisation on Wednesday in Asaba.
He said that President Buhari would not encourage anybody to rig in the forthcoming elections.
He commended the Buhari-led administration for the peace recorded in the Niger Delta, saying it has led to the increase in oil production and revenue to the country.
He said the Federal Government had made an impressive mark on the economy, agriculture, security, transportation and roads infrastructure among others.
He expressed optimism that Nigerians should vote for him to consolidate on his works.
He said: “President Buhari’s integrity and performance will speak for him during the presidential election.”
He tasked members of the organisation to work hard and get the people to know why they must return the president to continue with his good work.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the BOS team after its inauguration embarked on a road-walk campaign in Asaba for the president’s re-election bid.
The team campaigned with some ongoing Federal Government’s projects in some parts of South/South region.
