Egyptian Premier League side Al Masry have announced the signing of Qatar SC and Nigeria national team striker Anthony Okpotu.
The 2021/22 season was a very rough one for Al Masry fans as they finished 13th on the Egyptian Premier League table.
As a result, the team is currently being reconstructed, starting with the head coach as Hossam Hassan was dismissed and Ehab Galal took charge.
Moreover, the club has made a number of strong signings, including Egyptian international Marwan Hamdi, ES Setif midfielder Abderrahim Deghmoum, and Wydad centre-back Imadeddine Boubekeur.
Another name was now added to the newcomers’ list as the Greens announced the signing of Qatar SC striker Anthony Okpotu.
Okpotu joined Qatar SC from US Monastir back in 2020, and during his stay there, he made 32 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored seven goals and provided eight assists.
On the international level, Anthony represented the Nigerian national team on multiple occasions, but not in recent years.
