D’Tigers forward Devine Eke has signed to play for the reigning Nigerian league champions, Rivers Hoopers, at the Basketball Africa League season four.
He was outstanding when he made his national team debut at the Afrobasket qualifiers held in Tunisia two months ago.
The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 22 points, 8.3 rebounds, and five assists in three games.

Eke has played in NCAA Division 1 for Radford Highlanders, Zunder Palencia in Spain, Acadêmica Efapel in Portugal, Netherlands Zeeuw & Zeeuw Feyenoord, and OKK Sloboda Tuzla in Bosnia.
The 28-year-old becomes Hoopers’ fourth import for the 2024 Basketball Africa League.
He will join the rest of the squad for the second phase of their training camp, which begins this week in Lagos.
