Dream Team coach, Samson Siasia has said the team will get better as they play more matches in the ongoing All Africa Games football event.
Speaking from Brazzavile after the team defeated the Black Meteors of Ghana 2-0 in their opening game of the games, Siasia said with the victory the boys will now settle down for their next game as opening games are always difficult to play.
“You know first games are normally difficult to play and also putting in mind that Ghana are always difficult to play when it comes to Nigeria, I must commend my boys for playing to instruction, and take their chances in the 2nd half.
“This result will now make the boys a little bit relaxed for our next game against Senegal, as this will confirm our position in our group,” he stated.
Siasia added that all he needs is for Nigerians to keep giving them all the support for as things stands now; the team needs all the support of the nation.
On whether he was missing the services of some of his players who could not make it to Congo, coach Siasia said, all players who have been part of the team are important to the team and as such he missed their services, but the reality on ground right now is that he will work with those on ground and not lament over players not around.
