Deceased Shooting Stars fan laid to rest

Deceased fan of Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, Imam Bashir, was this morning laid to rest according to Islamic rites at his residence.
Hon. Dapo Lam Adesina, Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, led the management of the club to the burial.

The Chief Coach of the club, Festus Allen, and other members of the technical crew were also at the burial event of the dead supporter.
Bashir, it is recalled, slumped and died at the entrance of the Liberty Stadium on Saturday shortly before the week 10 Nigeria Premier League game involving Shooting Stars and Ocean Boys.
It is recalled also that Osaguona Ighodaro posted a man-of-the match performance as Shooting Stars bounced back from a recent sloppy performance to beat Ocean Boys of Brass 1-0.
