Confed Cup: Spain beats Italy 7-6 on penalties

Spain have beaten Italy on penalties to reach the final of the Confederations Cup.
The two sides could not be separated in the 90 minutes of the semi-final after Italy had been the better side.
Spain came alive in the extra-time period but could not find a way through the Azzurris defence, with Daniel De Rossi making a couple of game-saving tackles.
The shoot-out was started off by Antonio Candreva of Italy who nonchalantly chipped the ball down the middle, showing incredible amounts of confidence.
After 11 more perfectly hit penalties and the score at 6-6, Leonardo Bonucci could not show the composure that his teammates had and blazed his spot-kick over the bar.
New Manchester City recruit, Jesus Navas, tucked his penalty away to send Spain into Sunday’s final against Brazil.
