Twenty-five home-based players on Tuesday began training in Kano ahead of the final round of CHAN 2018 qualifier against Squirrels of Benin Republic.
The session, according to the national team Twitter handle: @NGSuperEagles, was supervised by Coach Salisu Yusuf and his assistants at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.
“First training session for #CHAN2018 Qualifiers vs Benin Republic in progress in Kano. 25 players in training,” @NGSuperEagles tweeted.
The Squirrels of Benin will host the Super Eagles in the first leg in Cotonou on August 11 before visiting Kano for the second leg a week later.
The fifth edition of the African Nations Championship is scheduled for between January 11 and February 2, 2018 in Kenya.
