Bukar Mandara is dead

Renowned politician and businessman, Alhaji Bukar Mandara, is dead.
Mandara, the Zanna-Dujima of Borno Emirate and a well respected leader in Borno State, died on Sunday at 81.
A statement by the Borno Emirate Council announced his death.
The statement was issued by the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Elkanemi.
Mandara is survived by two wives and 18 children.
