The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari, has been declared the winner of the election in Borno State.
Buhari won the election in Borno State polling 473,543 votes.
His main challenger and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, scored 25,640 votes.
Buhari’s victory only serves to consolidate his lead in the election in which he has already emerged victorious.
The Chairman of the Independent National electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega, is expected to declare Buhari the president-elect any moment from now.
