President Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Alhaji Sanusi Ado Bayero.
The termination of Alhaji Bayero’s appointment is with immediate effect.
He is to hand over the management of the NPA and all government property in his possession to Habibu Abdullahi, who has been reinstated as Managing Director of the NPA by President Buhari.
President Buhari wished Alhaji Bayero well in his future endeavours.
Sanusi, a lawyer, from Kano State, took over from Abdullahi on April 30, 2015.
He was appointed by former President Goodluck Jonathan, with less than four weeks to his exit from office.
