Three airlines with their aircraft are already in Egypt to evacuate Nigerians fleeing from the war in Sudan.
The spokesman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, made this known on Friday.
Balogun, in a statement after the arrival of 130 more evacuated Nigerians from Egypt on Friday, identified the airlines as Max Air, Azman Air and Nigerian Air Force Charlie 130.
He said all issues that led to the delays in boarding the evacuated Nigerians have been resoled with the Egyptian authorities.
He said about 1,700 Nigerians are to be evacuated in the coming days, with Max Air expected to take 540 passengers, Azman Air 400 and C130 the the others.
The Eagle Online recalls that 130 evacuees arrived via the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja into Nigeria from the Port Sudan International Airport in Abuja on Friday.
This comes two days after Air Peace and the NAF C130 ferried in 376 other evacuees into Nigeria.
