The Federal Government has asked the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit to freeze the bank accounts of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen.
The request was stated in a letter dated January 14, 2019 through the office of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, and received by the NFIU the same day.
According to the letter, all undeclared monies in the domiciliary accounts of the CJN should be frozen.
