The new Minister of Youth Development, Boni Haruna, who was sworn-in on Wednesday by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan during the Federal Executive Council meeting alongside other new ministers, has assumed duty.
The Minister was received by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Dr. Henry Akpan, and Directors at a very brief ceremony.
Haruna is a former Governor of Adamawa State.
He was a two-time governor.
He emerged the governor of Adamawa State after Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who was the arrowhead of the Atiku Abubakar/Boni Haruna ticket on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party then, was moved up to become the vice president.
