Boko Haram bombs two to death in Adamawa

Members of dreaded sect, Boko Haram, are said to have bombed two civilians to death in Mubi, Adamawa State.
According to the military, the two bombs that exploded, leading to the death of the two civilians, were targeted at soldiers working to keep the peace in the state.
The bomb went off in the cattle market located in Kashuwar Sanu area of Mubi as a patrol of the military, in a convoy, drove past.
However, while the soldiers escaped, two civilians were killed while several others, including children, were injured.
The legs of a young boy was said to have been blown off by the bombs.
General John Nwaogu, who is a top echelon of the military outfit in the state, said: “There was an explosion that targeted a military patrol team, but the explosion missed the target as none of the patrol vans were affected but two civilians were killed.”
