The incumbent and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Seriake Dickson, has won the governorship election in Nembe Local Government Area.
The Independent National Electoral Commission announced the result a few minutes ago.
While Dickson scored 10,768 votes, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Timipre Sylva, polled 6,974 votes.
With Nembe Local Government Area having been announced, only result from Southern Ijaw Local Government Area is outstanding.
Six others had been announced before now.
Out of the six, Dickson won in five, while Sylva took one.
Sylva won in his local government of origin, Brass.
