Former Vice President of Nigeria and Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, has expressed shock and sadness over the loss of his former aide and long-time political associate, Hon. Shima Ayati.
The former Vice President paid tribute to the loyalty and commitment of the Benue State born politician to his cause over the years.
“Though Ayati served as an aide while I was in office as Vice President, he never hesitated to make himself available whenever the need arises, and his loyalty was never in doubt,” Atiku said.
In expressing his condolences to the family of the deceased, friends, and the good people of Benue State, Atiku urged them to see Ayati’s demise as the will of God.
