After temporary disruption, the management of Arik Air has announced resumption of normal flight operations.
The spokesperson for the airline, Mr. Adebanji Ola, in a statement said flight operations will resume from 11.00 am on Wednesday, September 14, 2016.
The Eagle Online recalls that the management of Arik Air had on Tuesday afternoon announced temporary suspension of scheduled flight operations, attributing the decision to inability to get approval for renewal of its insurance.
Ola’s statement reads: “Arik Air, West and Central Africa’s largest airline, is pleased to announce that after a temporary disruption of flights on Tuesday, 13 September pending approval of aircraft documentation related to insurance renewal, it’s scheduled flights will resume as normal operations from 11 am tomorrow, Wednesday September 14, 2016.
“The company expresses its deepest regrets at the unfortunate inconvenience caused to its customers and requests that all booked passengers contact the airline on 01-2799999 or through its ticket offices for rescheduling their flights.”
