Sammy Ameobi, who has been dubbed a constant danger by manager Neil Warnock, has rejoined English Championship side Middlesbrough as a free agent as they agreed terms after he underwent a routine medical at Rockliffe.
Delighted ‘Boro manager, Neil Warnock said Ameobi will pose a danger for opponents.
“As soon as I became aware Sammy was available I let him know I wanted him, and we had a few good conversations,” he said.
“I thought it was important he could see what he could do for us, and what I could do for him.
“I’ve always thought he’s a danger, and I’ll be looking to use that danger and have a system where I can get him in positive forward positions.”
The former England youth international had played for Middlesbrough on loan in 2013. He played for Nottingham Forest last season.
