Ahead the Africa Movie Academy Awards scheduled to hold in Yenegoa, the Bayelsa State capital, this weekend, top Nollywood actresses have ‘fled’ Lagos to the oil rich state.
Sources at the local wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, disclosed that top stars such as Rita Dominic, Ibinabo Fiberesima, Bimbo Thomas and others were spotted boarding an Arik Airline flight to Bayelsa State on Friday morning.
The Eagle Online inquiry shows that quite a large number of Nigerians and foreign thespians were seen on Friday at the airport as majority of them made what seemed the last flight to the state before the event.
Meanwhile, sources in Yenegoa have confirmed to us that there are a lot of activities going on there in relation to the event.
