Super Eagles’ manager, Gernot Rohr, has listed the duo of Alex Iwobi and Odion Ighalo for this evening’s AFCON 2019 Round of 16 tie against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
Ighalo’s goal in the preliminaries ensured the former African champions passage to the knockout stage of the competition.
The China-based would be joined in the attack by stand-in skipper Ahmed Musa.
Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi, returned to goal after missing the final group game against Madagascar.
Akpeyi will be supplied cover by Chidozie Awaziem, Ola Aina, Kenneth Omeruo and William Troost-Ekong.
Nigeria’s midfield would be marshalled by Wilfried Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo, Moses Simon and Alex Iwobi.
The substitutes are Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Francis Uzoho, Jamilu Collins, Leon Balogun, Henry Onyekuru, Abdullahi Shehu, Samuel Chukwueze, Paul Onuachu, Samuel Kalu, John Ogu and Victor Osimhen.
The tie kicks off at 5pm Nigeria time.
