Beginning from March 23, GOtv will broadcast live qualifying matches of the 2017 Africa Nations Cup.
Subscribers will be able to follow the action on SuperSport Select 1 and SuperSport 9 as their favourite teams seek to secure slots in Africa’s biggest football tournament.
With the European football season at its peak, subscribers will also enjoy live matches of the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, English Football Championship League, Barclay’s Premier League, the Spanish La Liga and Nigeria Professional Football League, all for only N1,800 monthly.
For the AFCON qualifiers, the most anticipated match will be between seven-time AFCON champions, the Pharaohs of Egypt, and the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The first leg, scheduled to be played in Kaduna on March 25, and the second-leg in Alexandria in Egypt on March 29, will both be broadcast live on GOtv.
Also, GOtv subscribers will enjoy the qualifying matches between Swaziland and Zimbabwe, Cameroon v South Africa, DR Congo v Angola, Burkina Faso v Uganda, Mozambique v Ghana, Kenya v Guinea-Bissau, and Congo v Zambia, all of which will be available on SuperSport 9.
“The Africa Nations Cup is the biggest tournament on the continent, and the excitement builds up from the qualifying stage. Because we know how passionate our subscribers are about football, we constantly strive to bring them the best tournaments,” said Efe Obiomah, Public Relations Manager, GOtv.
