Adamu assumes duty as Acting IGP

The Acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, has taken over from the outgone Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Kpotun Idris.

The handing over ceremony was performed on Tuesday after Adamu was decorated by President Muhammadu Buhari.

He immediately headed to the Force Headquarters in Abuja where he assumed duty.
