The management of the struggling Nigeria Premier League side, ABS Football Club, Ilorin, Kwara State, has suspended the team’s Coach, Erasmus Onuh.
In a statement issued by the Media Officer of the club, Jimoh Bashir, Onuh was on Monday asked to step aside by the management.
The decision was necessitated by the club’s 0-1 home defeat in the hands of Rangers International in Ilorin on Sunday, according to the spokesman.
In the absence of Onuh, Coach Sulieman Dogo has been mandated to take over with immediate effect.
ABS, the most outstanding clubside last season, now faces imminent relegation as the team is rooted to the bottom of the 20-team NPL log.
