Abubakar Bukola Saraki Ilorin FC have appointed one of its former players, Abubakar Yusuf, aka Salas, as the Camp Commandant.
The Club’s Director of Football, Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka, confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday in Ilorin.
He said the team’s former right full back, who also played for Kwara United FC of Ilorin, will be sent to National Institute For Sports for a coaching course.
Chukwuemeka explained that Salas would also be providing leadership guidance for the young players at the club.
The Secretary of the Nigeria Premier Football League Owners pledged the team would continue to give necessary support to its former players and other youths.
