Abia North: Ohuabunwa desperate, afraid of losing senatorial election – Orji Kalu Campaign Organization

The Orji Uzor Kalu Campaign Organization has lambasted the former Senator representing Abia North senatorial district, Mao Ohuabunwa for playing politics with human lives.

The campaign organization in a statement titled ” Ohuabunwa is desperate, afraid of losing senatorial election” and signed by its spokesperson, Sunny Idika on Tuesday evening  dismissed Ohuabunwa’s chances in the general election, accusing him of desperation and irresponsible politicking.

Reacting to a statement credited to Ohuabunwa’s aide, Isaac Nkole, the campaign organization said: “Our attention has been drawn to the recent characteristic charade by one Issac Nkole, working for the defeated Senator Mao Ohuabunwa — the Abia North PDP senatorial candidate for 2023 general election.

“In the said chat organized by Ohuabunwa’s sponsored media outlet, Wawanewsglobal, Nkole was quoted to have said that “Abia North senatorial poll ‘ll be walkover for Ohuabunwa”. He also said that Abia North was missing Senator Mao Ohuabunwa.

“We really do not want to respond to the infantile tantrum of Ohuabunwa and his boys, as it is now becoming obvious to the good people of Abia North, especially the voting public, that Ohuabunwa has finally lost the plot and is grabbing at straws to shield its obvious incompetence and defeat awaiting him.

“How else does one respond to Nkole’s statement laced with immature reasoning, lies, childish innuendos and thoughts? No wonder Senator Ohuabunwa had been trending on monumental failures especially his infamous frying pan sharing empowerment.

“Ohuabunwa and his team have graduated from playing politics with human lives to blatant disregard to the people of Abia North senatorial district by constantly trying to use propaganda to get their sympathy.   We are not surprised by Ohuabunwa’s desperation, cheap blackmail in the name of irresponsible politicking

because he is afraid of losing again in 2023.

“To reconcile how Ohuabunwa and Nkole’s thinking that the Abia North do not need rural roads is an obvious display of desperation having nothing on ground to campaign with.

“Ohuabunwa, embarrassed by the runaway success of Orji Uzor Kalu, has since embarked on a wicked scheme to create disaffection among the people of Abia North senatorial district.

“Ohuabunwa should know that Distinguished Senator Orji Uzor Kalu is not his class politically and otherwise. The Chief Whip of the Senate is building 63 road projects across Abia North senatorial district with additional 50 coming in 2022/2023. He has over 40 Bills and 20 motions to his credit. He has renovated schools and distributed education materials with free scholarship for Abia North students to study Medicine and Surgery abroad. Ohuabunwa is simply desperate and afraid to lose the senatorial election like he did in 2019 when he was overwhelmingly humiliated and rejected by all, including his party members.”
