Alhaji Dauda Umar, the father of Alhaji Suleiman Umar, Nigerian Ambassador to Austria, has died at the age of 83 during a brief illness.
Until his death, he was a seasoned Accountant and Administrator, who worked in various local government councils of Kaduna State.

Malam Ahmed Bamalli, the Emir of Zazzau, led his council members, District Heads and hundreds of sympathisers for the funeral prayer of the deceased in Zaria on Tuesday.
The remains of the ambassador’s father was laid to rest at the Amaru Muslim burial ground in Kaura Ward of Zaria Local Government Area.
The deceased was survived by wives, children and many grandchildren.
