AC Milan are actively pursuing right-winger, Samuel Chukwueze, with negotiations in full swing between the Italian club and La Liga outfit Villarreal.
Latest reports from Futbol Fichajes indicate that an agreement has been reached with the Nigerian international player.
This brings them one step closer to securing his services.
The Rossoneri are on the hunt for a new right-winger as it is anticipated that Junior Messias will depart this summer.
Though Alexis Saelemaekers was rumoured to be leaving as well, recent developments suggest he might stay with the club.
Chukwueze, a 24-year-old Nigerian international, is AC Milan’s top target for the right flank.
Having been with Villarreal since August 2017, he has grown into a professional player after starting with Villarreal U19 from Nigeria’s Diamond Football Youth Academy.
SempreMilan.it reports that AC Milan and Chukwueze have agreed to a five-year contract worth €4 million per season, inclusive of bonuses.

While Villarreal initially demanded over €30 million, Milan could potentially negotiate a deal closer to €20 million to €25 million.
The player’s interest in the move could play a significant role in lowering Villarreal’s demands.
If the deal goes through, Chukwueze will fill the last non-EU spot in AC Milan’s squad, bolstering their attack for the upcoming season.
