Leicester City star Kelechi Iheanacho is unlikely to be a name that many fans would associate as one of the Premier League’s most efficient attackers.
However, the Nigerian striker’s goal against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday has certainly strengthened his case.
The Nigerian netted the Foxes’ third goal in shock 4-1 win against the north London side.
Iheanacho also assisted James Maddison beforehand, and is now on 40 goals and 27 assists in the Premier League.
As a result, he is joined by some of the game’s greats on an exclusive list of players with some of the best returns in the English top flight.
Iheanacho sits 10th for the number of minutes per goal or assist for players with 150 or more appearances in the league.
He has averaged 112 minutes a contribution during his time at Leicester and Manchester City, just two behind Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.
Top of the pile is the legendary Thierry Henry, who scored or assisted every 86 minutes during his time at Arsenal.
Henry is one of the greatest Premier League players of all time, and the stats prove it.
Level with him is City’s former forward Sergio Aguero, with Mohamed Salah next on the list on 97 minutes and Robin van Persie accumulating 102.
Tottenham’s all-time top scorer Harry Kane has contributed every 105 minutes, with his Arsenal rival Gabriel Jesus four minutes behind.
Manchester United legends Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Eric Cantona also sit on 109 minutes, with Iheanacho clearly in good company.
He now has 82 goal contributions in all competitions for Leicester since he joined from City in 2017.
His goal against Spurs has taken him to five for the season in all competitions, and his assist for Maddison was his fourth of the campaign.
The result has also steered Brendan Rodgers’ side six points clear of the relegation zone, a vast improvement from the previous few months.
