In fulfilment of his promise during the Ebem For Christ, which took place in February, the Director, ABN TV, a leading online medium in Nigeria, Ifeanyi Okali, has purchased 10 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination forms for indigenous students of Ebem Ohafia, Abia State.
This offer was open to students from less privileged homes in the community in Ohafia Local Government Area.
A committee set up for this purpose.
After the screening of the applicants, the committee submitted names of eight beneficiaries who were qualified.
The benefitting students are Orieke Afor Ume from Ndi Ebi, Eziukwu; Nina Kalu Okoro, Ndi Anaga, Eziukwu; Chiukpai Nneoma Ifekwa, Ndia Chiukpai, Ekeluogo; Uka Nnaoke Kalu, Ndia Nsi, Ekeluogo; Ifekwa Gloria Obasi, Ngbaga; Ubani Blessing Ifekwa, Ndi Onwuka, Eziukwu; Agwu Kalu Osonwa, Ndia Agwu, Ekeluogo; and Awucha Ngozi Ibem, Ndi Idika Awa, Eziukwu.
The successful students have since been handed the forms in readiness for the examination and processing of their admission.
While stating that this was part of his efforts to contribute to human capital development in the community, Okali said those successful in their admission will be offered some stipends to enable them go to school.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has scheduled the 2022 UTME to hold between May 6 and 16, 2022.
