Controversial Yoruba actress, Liz Da Silva, has been christened Aishat Olaoye at her recent Wonka (Islamic name changing ceremony).
Liz now prefers to be called Aishat after her conversion from Christianity to Islam.
Da Silva, in a recent interview, said the idea behind her move is to tell the world that she has a very good relationship with the father of her new baby girl and to finally put to rest wild speculation about the paternity of her child.
Da Silva added: “I had to convert to Islam and get a new name even before my baby’s christening.”
Before now, the actress had remained silent on the controversial personality of her baby’s father, whose name was later confirmed as Alhaji Olaoye.
Da Silva stressed that she is neither married nor have a child for the popular transport union boss, MC Oluomo.
A very close source however disclosed further that the actress’s hubby, Alhaji Olaoye, happens to be a close buddy of Oluomo, the reason she has been linked to him several times.
