President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in his country home, Daura, for the Eid -el Kabir celebration.
Buhari landed at the Daura helipad at 6:35 pm on Monday in a presidential helicopter marked NAF -541 along with the members of his family and some aides.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that in the president’s entourage was his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu.
Others were: Alhaji Garba Darazo, his Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs and Malam Lawal Kazaure, the Chief Protocol Officer to the President.
The president was received by the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Farouk Umar, the state Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Wakili, and other dignitaries.
