President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has approved the deployment of some federal permanent secretaries.
Those affected by the deployment are Engineer John O. Chukwu of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, who is awaiting posting; and Winifred Oyo-Ita of the Office of the Minister of Special Duties, who is also awaiting posting.
Others are Dr. James N. Obiegbu of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (Career Management Office). who has been moved to the Ministry of Police Affairs; and Alhaji Aliyu Ismaila Numan of the Ministry of Police Affairs, who is now to head the Ministry of Defence.
According to a statement by the Director of Press and Public Relations in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Alhaji Bukar Goni Aji, the deployment circular directed that the processes for handing and taking over should be completed on or before April 15, 2013.
