Emir Sanusi orders probe of immorality, criminality at Kano viewing centre

The Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi (II), has frowned at the allegation of immorality and criminality being practiced by youths of Badawa, Kawo, Sauna and Haye in Nassarawa Local Government Area of Kano State at a football viewing centre.
Sanusi has therefore directed the Kano State Hisbah Board to investigate the alleged immorality and criminality.
According to available reports, the residents of the areas had complained to the monarch that the viewing centre, which was opened by one Anwulu Sankara, had become “a platform for immoral and criminal acts”.
The residents, led by one Mohammed A-Hassan, further alleged that the sale and consumption of illegal substances is also prevalent at the centre.
Sanusi, who addressed the protesters, directed the Hisbah Board to investigate the allegations and bring the culprits to book.
