Kidnappers have freed three friends abducted on January 27 in Abuja.
They were abducted on a day one of them was celebrating her birthday.
The three friends – Veronica Otogo, Bisola Mohammed and Damilola – were kidnapped as Otogo celebrated her birthday.
Apart from regaining their freedom, they were also given their phones and N10,000 for transport fare as they were let go on Sunday at about 9pm.
They were abducted from a creamery shop in Wuse 2, where they had gone to purchase ice cream and cake.
They were whisked away in a Toyota Highlander owned by Otogo’s elder sister, Irene.
The vehicle was yet to be recovered as at press time.
