Breaking: Yahya Jammeh leaves Gambia

Former President of The Gambia, Yahya Jammeh, has eventually left the country.
Jammeh left the airport at about 10:25pm Nigerian time.
This was according to tweets by a reporter who has been at the airport almost all day, Umaru Fofana.
Two aircraft, according to Fofana, had been at the airport for fairly some time before the arrival of Jammeh and his departure.
He eventually left in one of them to start his life in exile.
