The Senate on Wednesday decided to screen the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, on Thursday.
The screening is coming six months after the Presidency forwarded a letter to the Senate seeking Manu’s confirmation as EFCC chairman.
The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, had in July forwarded the confirmation the name of Magu to the Senate for confirmation.
At the plenary session on Wednesday, the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, who presided, disclosed the scheduled screening of Magu to senators.
Ekweremadu said the board members of the anti-graft agency would also be screened.
They are Nasule Moses, Lawan Maman, Garandaji Imam Naji and Adeleke Adebayo Rafiu.
