Watford vs Hull City
Venue: Vicarage Road
Kick off: 3pm
A desperate Hull City in poor form travel to Watford in search of a much-needed win.
With Watford under investigation for providing the Football League with fake documents, manager Walter Mazzarri will be hoping that off-pitch troubles don’t affect performances on the pitch.
Hull’s boss, Mike Phelan, has a tough job on his hands this season, and these are the sort of games they will need to be getting at least a point in to stay up.
The away side managed to hold the Welsh club to a draw as the hosts squandered numerous chances.
Watford didn’t create too much, but Gomes in particular put in a good display.
The Hornets will be hoping to have more control in their game at Vicarage Road.
The Tigers lost 2-0 at the KCOM Stadium after an excellent performance from Swiss man Xherdan Shaqiri.
This was their 5th consecutive defeat, and saw them drop into the relegation zone. In this period, they have leaked goals, at an average of just under four per game.
Dawson put in a good performance after returning from injury, whilst Robert Snodgrass limped off late on.
Watford go into this game with their whole squad available for selection except for Isaac Success who is a slight doubt following an injury that saw him pull out of the Nigeria squad earlier this month.
Hull will be without regulars Andrew Robertson, Robert Snodgrass and Moses Odubajo for the trip to Watford.
Robertson picked up an injury on international duty whilst Odubajo was ruled out for six more months after suffering a serious knee injury.
Former Spurs defender Dawson returned from injury last weekend, and should be available for this game.
