One of the claimants to the National Chairman’s office of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, has at last gained entry into the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja.
Sheriff was earlier prevented by a detachment of policemen from entering the office at Wadata Plaza, Abuja on Monday.
But after a few phone calls, he was allowed into the secretariat by the policemen, whose number was increased after Sheriff’s arrival.
As at press time, Sheriff was briefing newsmen.
