A former Minister of Education and arrow head of the Bring Back Our Girls campaign, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, was arrested by security operatives but released after she fought for her rights.
According to information made available on her Twitter handle, Ezekwesili was arrested early on Monday morning at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
She said she was on her way to London where she would feature on a programme on the British Broadcasting Corporation, Hard Talk.
Ezekwesili said her travelling documents, including international passport, were seized.
However, she said after fighting for her democratic rights, she was released.
She said she was the last passenger to board the British Airways flight.
