Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr, has named John Mikel Obi and Chelsea star, Victor Moses, in his starting line up against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifying tie on Friday (today) in Uyo, Aka Ibom State.
Mikel and Moses returned after being sidelined due to injuries.
Mikel, who stars for China’s Tianjin Teda, will be joined by Ogenyi Onazi and Wilfried Ndidi in the midfield.
Home-boy Ikechukwu Ezenwa will man the sticks for the Eagles, while the Nigeria’s defence will be marshalled by Shehu Abdullahi, Leon Balogun, William Troost-Ekong and Elder Echiejile.
The Nigeria manager also opted for Victor Moses, Moses Simon and Odion Ighalo in the attack.
On the Super Eagles bench are: Dele Alampasu, Dele Ajiboye, Ahmed Musa, Chidozie Awwziem, Mikel Agu, Oghenekaro Etebo, Anthony Nwakaeme, Kelechi Nwakali, Uche Agbo, Aaron Samuel, John Ogu and Tyrone Ebuehi.
The match kicks off at 5pm at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
