West Ham United were on Friday drawn to face RSC Anderlecht in the 2022/2023 Europa Conference League group stage.
The sides’ Group B also includes Denmark’s Silkeborg and Romanian side FCSB in the first round of Europe’s third-tier event.
The matches run from September 8 to November 3.
Anderlecht beat West Ham 4-2 in their only previous meeting in the 1976 Cup Winners’ Cup final in Brussels.
In other selected groups, Italy’s Fiorentina are up against Turkey’s Basaksehir, RFS of Latvia and Scotland’s Hearts of Midlothian in Group A.
Spain’s Villarreal are in Group C along with Hapoel Beer-Sheva of Israel, Austria Vienna and Poland’s Lech Poznan.
Bundesliga club Cologne are in Group D with Partizan Belgrade, Ligue 1 side Nice and Czech club Slovacko.
The final is scheduled for June 7, 2023 in Prague, Czech Republic.
