Beginning from now, The Eagle Online will bring you a four-part serial on how operatives of the National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control took the owner and workers of Chocolat Royal by surprise, leading to the discovery of expired food products.
Some of the products expired as far back as 2004.
The raid, which yielded expired products said to be worth over N1 billion, was carried out in the headquarters of the company and the home of the owner of Chocolat Royal, Amin Moussalli, both located in Victoria Island, Lagos.
