The warning follows a Notice of Concern (NOC) issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO) Prequalification Service after an audit of the company’s manufacturing facility.

The South-East Zonal Director of NAFDAC, Dr. Festus Ukadike, issued the warning at a one-day stakeholders’ sensitisation programme held in Owerri on Thursday.
In a statement posted on its X handle on Tuesday, the agency disclosed that the products identified include FINO, PUR, OKI, SUPER DELICIEX and LA JONIC.
The Director, NAFDAC North Central Zone, Kenneth Azikiwe, said on Saturday in Jos that the agency had earlier received reports from a consumer who purchased the expired but revalidated beverage and had health issues after consumption.
The operation, led by the Director of Investigation and Enforcement, Dr. Martins Iluyomade, followed credible intelligence on the sale and distribution of counterfeit and unwholesome goods at the market.
