Second Republic Minister, Alhaji Umaru Dikko, is to head a disciplinary committee set up by the Peoples Democratic Party.
Known as the National Disciplinary Committee, the body also has Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu and Alhaji Shuaibu Oyedokun as members.
The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Barrister Tony Okeke, who announced the setting up and composition of the body, said the committee would be inaugurated by the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Bamanga Tukur.
Okeke listed other members of the committee as King A.J. Turner (Deputy Chairman), Hajiya Nana Ayishat Kadiri, Barrister Hussaini Diraki and Senator Emmanuel Agboti (Secretary).
He said the committee was set up “pursuant to the provisions of Articles 57 (1), (2), (3) of the Constitution of the Peoples Democratic Party….”
