Tottenham has worked out a plan for Destiny Udogie.
Spurs is confident of landing the Udinese left-back as their seventh summer signing.
However, the Evening Standard reports that Spurs will loan Udogie back to Udinese for the 2022/23 season.
It is a similar plan to the one employed on Pape Matar Sarr following his move from Metz last summer.
Talks over personal terms will proceed this week before Udogie undergoes a medical in Italy.
Tottenham director Fabio Paratici is an expert on the Italian market and 19-year-old Udogie is viewed as a player with big potential.
