Tinted hair strange to Nigerian culture — Olumuyiwa Adejobi

The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has said that tinting of hair is strange to the Nigerian culture.

However, the Chief Superintendent of Police said no one can be arrested for hair tinting because it is not a crime.

He said this while responding to a Twitter user who disclosed that he was arrested by police officers over his tinted hair. 

Adejobi said though it is not a crime to tint ones hair, however, it looks “strange to our culture” as Africans.

He wrote: “It is not a crime to tint your hair. 

“It only looks strange to our culture, but not a crime at all.

“You can take it up against him if you so wish.”
