The Peoples Democratic Party has stated that there is a pending litigation over its property that was revoked by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Debo Ologunagba, disclosed this when he addressed newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday.
Ologunagba said: “There is a pending court case regarding the ownership of the property, with suit number CV 1363-17.
“The case was filed in 2017 between NICON Insurance Limited and the following defendants:
“The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory is the first defendant in that case.
“The second defendant is the Peoples Democratic Party.

“It is curious that the minister, who is a party to the ongoing litigation, is now revoking the same property.
“The last court hearing was on February 10, where the minister was represented by his lawyers.
“Yet, about a month later, the same property is being revoked despite the case still being in court.
“This shows that the issue goes beyond just revocation.
“There are other underlying matters at play.
“The next hearing is scheduled for May 5.
“And the case is still ongoing.”
