The position of the former university administrators come amidst the lingering strike action of the Academic Staff Union of Universities which has been on for over 200 days.
This came on a day the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, said the Federal Government’s promise of immediate reply to its submission to the committee set up to negotiate with it had not been fulfilled, nearly a month after.
The President of the union, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke, made this known to newsmen on Friday in Abuja.

This withdrawal, the union said, was being considered after Inuwa’s submission that “the University Transparency and Accountability Solution had failed integrity test, vulnerability test (security integrity), User Acceptance Test (UAT) and stress load test, as well as the hardware requirements.”
The two unions told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the strike was in compliance with the directive of the committee.
