The Publicity Secretary of the APC in Ekiti State, Taiwo Olatunbosun, said in a statement on Sunday in Ado-Ekiti that the party would have kept quiet over Fayose’s call, but decided to react for the purpose of the innocent public who had become victims of Fayose’s “unconscionable mischief” to get away with his many misdeeds

The Publicity Secretary of the APC in Ekiti State, Taiwo Olatunbosun, in a statement in Ado-Ekiti, said while the party sympathised with the bereaved families of the dead students, it regretted that the students lost their lives to circumstances that could have been avoided if the government had been responsive and committed to service to the people

The party’s reaction followed insinuations that the weekend peace meeting between the duo was a blow to a just conclusion of the military probe into an election in which the Federal Government allegedly deployed the military and cash to influence the result in Fayose’s favour as revealed in the secretly recorded audio tape by Army Captain Sagir Koli
